Sectors are strange and special in that they are not based on astronomical phenomena.
So the element that are they, and the manner in which do we calculate them?
Sectors are based on the Terrestrial sphere’s 24-hour rotation around its own axis.
Imagine a snapshot taken of the sky at the moment of your birth. The entire sky, above and below the horizon lines, is divided into twelve sections, starting from the Rising Zodiac symbol. These sections are called the sectors. They each symbolize various areas of your existence.

The sectors are based on the rising zodiac symbol & the element that’s overhead.

Each of the four quadrants is divided into three to form twelve sectors.
You'll notice those lines don't line up perfectly with the zodiac zodiac symbol lines.
